TLINGIT COIN SILVER BRACELET BY Billy WILSON

This coin silver Bear clan bracelet is an original by Billy Wilson of the Icy Straits Village

of Hoonah, Alaska.  I met the Wilson family in 1963 when purse seining  in the Icy Straits.

The original bracelets were made of coin silver before it was taken out of circulation.  I

would give Bill four silver quarters and depending how good fishing Wa I would return in a week and

he would have a bracelet for me.  I have more history to tell please ask..
